UPDATE (3/30 at 10:51AM CST)

Federal social distancing guidelines have been extended to April 30th, which includes limits to large gatherings.

CHANGE POLICY UPDATE –  For guests with existing reservations arriving on (or before) April 30th, we will allow guests to postpone their reservation, cancel with a refund, or issue a 110% credit for a future stay checking out prior to April 30, 2021.

Effective today, the Rosemary Beach Cottage Rental Company lobby will be closed to the public. You are encouraged to visit this page for updates on our community. We are continuing to answer and return calls from our guests.

  • Is the beach closed?

    Effective immediately, the Rosemary Beach community is closing its beaches to all owners and guests until April 12th, 2020. Walton County Board of County Commissioners voted early on March 19th to close public beaches throughout the county.

  • What is the change policy?

    In response to changing marketplace conditions, Rosemary Beach Cottage Rental Company is committed to ensuring our customers experience flexibility during these challenging times.
    We are implementing the following policies:
    Florida Governor has suspended arrivals to all vacation rental homes in Florida from Sunday, March 29 through April 10. We will no longer accept new reservations arriving on March 29 – April 10, 2020.
    For guests with existing reservations arriving on (or before) April 30th, we will allow guests to postpone their reservation, cancel with a refund, or issue a 110% credit towards a future stay checking out prior to April 30, 2021. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences. We ask that those with travel insurance and qualified claims file a claim through Red Sky Sun Trip Preserver.
    Guests with existing reservations arriving after April 30th, we will continue to update this page with any changes to our current COVID19 policies. Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

  • I have a question about my reservation, what is the best way to contact you?

    We are experiencing a very high call volume and are working diligently to respond to voicemails as quickly as possible. We encourage you to email us at rentals@rosemarybeach.com with any questions you may have.

  • Are events cancelled?

    The Merchants Association has cancelled spring break events through March 31st.

  • What safety precautions are you taking?

    • Quality Assurance: Adhering to our industry-leading, cleaning procedures in every property. Our policy includes sanitizing measures, and we will continue to follow CDC hygiene guidelines
    • Habits: Promoting a healthy work environment and supporting staff as they stay home if they are showing any symptoms.

    • Check-In: Modifying procedures to adhere to CDC recommendations.
    • Social Distancing: Recommending guests restrict gathers in common area and beaches with more than 10 people.

All community pools (starting Friday, March 20th at 5 pm) 
Beach Chair Services (starting Friday, March 20th at 5 pm)
Rosemary Beach Fitness Center and Rosemary Beach Racquet Club (starting Thursday, March 19th)
All community events have been suspended
At this time Rosemary Beach remains open for visitors. Rosemary Beach Cottage Rental Company will continue to honor and create reservations and be on-site to assist guests.

UPDATE (3/17/2020 at 1:15PM CST):
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announcement:
On Tuesday, March 17th, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the mandatory closing of all Florida bars and nightclubs, beginning at 5 p.m. Additionally, he is mandating that restaurants limit seating to 50% capacity, with staggered seating to distance diners from each other. On the beach, he recommends groups less than 10 people, with each group keeping 6 feet of separation.
Update following the Walton County BCC Emergency Meeting:
The WCBCC did not close Walton County’s beaches.
During the Emergency Walton County Board of County Commissioners (WCBCC) meeting held March 16, 2020, the WCBCC issued a Local State of Emergency (LSE). This LSE will be in place for seven days and must be re-issued on a weekly basis.
The WCBCC has taken the following actions:
Cancellation of all BCC and TDC permitted outdoor events and beach activity ordinance special events.
Suspension of the rental of all county-owned public facilities.
Extended all current dog beach permits for 8 weeks. No new permit processing until June 1st.
All Walton County Volunteer Board meetings have been cancelled for the remainder of March and the month of April. At this time, these meetings are expected to continue in May.
The WCBCC encourages all Walton County citizens and visitors to be mindful and adhere to all direction distributed by the Florida Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control.
